Forums:
Is anyone going to do the math on this generator or are we blind?
A 5 KWhr generator represents 17,070 BTU per hour output. At one lb of
propane per hour, only 20,000 to 21,400 BTU per hour are being input. Does
an instaneous 85% conversion efficiency by some "unknown production source"
sound a bit high when all the professionals in the thermoionic industry
have been trying for 25 years to break 5% thermal efficiency? If you
believe that pile of aeromatic, fully digested horse feed, I have a bridge
in Brooklyn I could make available for a small fee. I can take VISA if you
prefer.
The delaying information provided by the Jade Mountain updates reminds me
of an amateur aircraft manufacturer who promised an engine for his
homebuilt airplane for over two years on monthly updates like these and
finally declared bankruptcy.
