Dear sirs,
I have been sending messages to ZTS.thermoelectrics group and got, so far,
no answers. I wonder why ?
We are a non-profit organization who created a set of products based on TEG
for the 50% of the population living on earth that have no access to
electricity. One of our product is a good old kerosene lamp powering an
AM/FM radio receiver The radiolamp "LUFO". http//www.lufo.org will give
you the picture.
We think that we have created a smart approach by proposing this item, for
sale, in developed countries. We are selling them in couple 2,4,6...
(binary influence ?!) and at the time of the purchase you have the
possibility to designate the country of your choice for donating one of the
Radiolamp. It is not mandatory, the choice is yours.
We are not collecting money, nor do we have any political bias. We also
privately auto-financed everything without the help of any state, agency or
government. We do have a code of ethics that, as an example, will prevent us
from producing a single channel auto-tuning radio receiver.
Most of us are engineers or Phd, but nobody of us ever touched TEG's
technology before. With our combined ignorance and even without the
knowledge of your existence on the web, we overcame many technical problems
and got a working and industrial product.
I noticed that some of you are travelling a lot around the globe and I am
calling for support. It appears to me that your domain of expertise should
make you feel special about this product, hence talking about it, finding
new contacts, etc... Your expertise might also be very useful in reducing
the cost of production of our different products.
Thank you for reading this and let me know your thoughts.

Hi Pedro,
I think you have a great product. I only wish I had one about
20 years ago. I can only speak for myself, but in the Bahamas,
we used to run everything on kerosene lamps, fridges, the works.
But, with the advent of alternative energy about 10 years ago,
particularly wind generators, solar energy and cheap inverters,
we can't even get kerosene in the out islands any longer for the
lamps that we still have, and very often really have a need for.
I would suggest that you contact groups like the peace corps,
and the missionary groups, that are in the field and really
have direct contact with the very large market that you seek.
Those people that really need your lamp, don't have access to
the internet, and don't even have a need for alternative energy.
I would also suggest that you contact the catalog companies.
In fact, I believe I've already seen it advertised somewhere?
You can contact me directly for correspondence. I'm always
willing to communicate, even if I no longer myself have any
need for hydrocarbon energy sources.

To M. Pedro MONSANTO
Hello there;
I am a student of Computer Science studying at Jussieu University in Paris,
France, and though I have little experience in the field (I follow the
discussions in news groups such as these in part to try to educate myself), I do
have some experience in the field of web-site creation and management. Would you
like someone to translate your site into French?
Please let me know of any particular manner in which I may be of any assistance.
Sincerely,
Marc A. P. Bernstein
