A heat pipe is used to transport heat from a mobile processor (such as Pentium® 4 Mobile) to a remote heat exchanger. Heat pipe heat sinks are lightweight, low cost (in volume quantities), high performance (up to 50 W), and are currently being produced at our high-volume manufacturing facility at volumes of greater than 50,000 per month. Thermacore can custom-configure a solution to meet your unique processor thermal and mechanical needs.
