Senior Electromechanical Systems Engineer

GMZ Energy Inc located in Waltham, Massachusetts, a dynamic company focusing on thermoelectric energy conversion has a position open for a Senior Electromechanical Systems Engineer.

GMZ Energy is seeking an individual with extremely broad-based experience in electromechanical devices to participate in the design and integration of its systems-level products. This position requires strong skills in the device prototyping and test & evaluation domain. This person will be self-directing on projects involving all aspects of systems integration, from mechanical integrity, electric circuits, materials effects, and product test. Strong experience with design and computational tools important: CAD, FEM, Matlab, Labview, etc. Additional desired skills: Experience with thermal heat flow, electro-mechanical device reliability, design for manufacturing, and a strong materials background. Strong preference will be given to candidates with direct thermoelectric device or materials experience.

Requirements: a MS or Ph.D. in relevant fields with 10 years of industrial experience in electromechanical devices and systems is required. We will consider BS candidates who posses extensive device implementation and/or thermoelectric systems experience.
